Cardiologist Spyridon Louvros was born and grew up on the island of Corfu. Following his mandatory studies, he studied at the Medical School of the University L’Aquila in Italy, which he graduated with the highest honors.
Following his studies, he served his mandatory military service in the Army Corps – 401 General Military Hospital and at the Medical Battalion on the island of Samos. He fulfilled his rural medical practice at the Health Centre of Paramythia in Thesprotia.
He specialized in Cardiology by serving consecutive residencies at the Hospital of Corfu and at Hospitals in Athens.

He served at the Hospital as a Pathology intern in order to gain the specialization in Cardiology. The doctor thus had the opportunity to be trained by experienced physicians and became acquainted with the particularities relating to the provision of health services on our island.

The cardiologist has participated in numerous international and national medical conferences and places great emphasis on continuing education and the implementation of clinical and laboratory cardiology based on international guidelines and the directives by the European Society of Cardiology.
His love for Corfu and its people, led him to return to his birthplace, with his wife and two sons, in order to serve its people.
